Dr. Sambhavi Chandrashekar is Global Accessibility Lead at D2L, where she drives disability inclusion through inclusive design as a revenue and market expansion strategy, turning compliance into competitive advantage for education partners worldwide. She shapes international standards as the chair of the Global Leadership Council at IAAP and Canada’s ISO SC36 mirror committee, and Vice Chair of Canada’s AI and ICT standards committees. She bridges academic rigor, global policy influence, and P&L impact with 15+ years as former faculty in inclusive design at University of Toronto and OCAD University and current adjunct professor at three Canadian universities advising doctoral students.
