Dr. Homiyar currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Torchit Foundation, where he leads global efforts to design and scale affordable assistive technologies. He is also a Disability Expert with Benetech, driving large-scale digital literacy and inclusive education initiatives for persons with print disabilities.

In India Benetech runs the “Saksharta programme” under which students are empowered to use digital tools to read and write independently, becoming free of scribes. The programme aims to make visually impaired employable for future jobs.
