Nehal is a stone-painting artist who transforms ordinary river pebbles into vibrant works of art that reflect creativity, emotion, and resilience. An Information Technology graduate from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, and a Consultant at Ernst & Young, Nehal is on the Autism Spectrum and uses art as a powerful form of self-expression. To date, she has created and sold over 2,200 hand-painted stones, with her work showcased at renowned venues across India, London, and Dubai. Through her exhibitions and workshops with organizations such as EY, DHL, and Tata Power, Nehal continues to inspire audiences by demonstrating how creativity can turn simple objects into extraordinary stories.

Reimagining neurodiversity through creativity, art and play

This panel explores neurodiversity beyond a clinical lens, highlighting how, art, play, music and creative expression can become powerful pathways for communication, learning, emotional expression and social participation. Through approaches such as stone art and LEGO-based play, the session will examine how caregivers, families and communities can create more inclusive environments that build confidence and enable neurodiverse individuals to participate meaningfully—not only in therapy or special schools, but also at home and in mainstream cultural, educational and social spaces.
